Event on Landed: Annoying sound at level start

I have set basic 2d sound playing whenever I land on the floor conencted to tick. (to make a land noise)

Works ok however everytime I load the level it seems like all the characters me and the enemies are landing at the same time and makes an annoying glitched noise. How can I prevent this other than muting the first second of the game and the unmuting?

Why do you need tick to call the sound? I’m guessing that is the cause of your problem. It’s probably registering each character as landing at the start of the level triggering the event.

Move the landing do a single event based action. Also add an in air bool property to only trigger landing if the character is off the ground. (You need to update it if the character is jumping or falling)
