Greetings @alerender !
Thank you for sharing such an epic short film! The environment was horrifying and displayed the aftermath of depraved and intentional destruction.
My favorite shot was of the woman on the cross with the sun behind her. It was a very symbolic image. The woman in the place of the “son” with the “sun” behind her. Chef’s Kiss!
What was your inspiration for this film? How did you decide which software/hardware was needed for your project? What was the hardest part and were you able to meet all your deadlines? If so, how did you accomplish this?
Thanks for your comment.
Eva is my own project. I decided to learn Unreal (for animation) by doing these chapters.
In each chapter I am presented with different situations to solve and that leads me to learn new techniques.
In this, for example, the theme of land.
I wanted to make a chapter where EVA was in that tragic situation…
I do each chapter alone, without a budget, solving the issue of animations with mocap or Plask libraries, marketplace assets…
It is a good practice. In turn, I document everything in tutorials on my channel about the process
Sorry if my english is not very good
You’re very welcome, @alerender !
Your method of learning is a great way to challenge yourself to gain knowledge of situations you might not have otherwise been exposed to. I’ve come across many self-taught devs who learn by just diving into UE and learning as they go. And no worries! Your English is perfect!
It is also great practice that you document everything! What is the link to your channel with your tutorials? Have you considered contributing your tutorials in our community tutorials section (form here)?
Exact. I realize that I learn better from YouTube, looking directly for what I want to do.
This is my channel https://www.youtube.com/user/alerendersoc
But here I have been uploading in a more orderly way, as is my workflow https://www.alerender.com/evaunreal
And yes, I have started uploading these tutorials in the Unreal tutorials section
Both your YT and personal page are highly organized. And your personal site is delightful! Thank you for posting them!
You are immensely appreciated for sharing your talent with the world and for uploading your tutorials to our Unreal Engine forum!
thank you very much for your words
Muy interesante.
Pero qué es esto?? Luis Royo + Warhammer?
