We are a small research lab associated with an academic institution, but housed in a hospital (not an academic institution). We are just gearing up to use Unreal Engine. I am a staff person in the lab, and I have downloaded and installed Unreal Engine on one computer (Computer A) using my epic user account.
We will soon have two co-op students joining our lab, one from January-April and another from May-August. I would like to assign both of them to use Computer A. Note that they will not overlap in time, so they will NOT be using the computer during the same time frame. Is it allowed for them both to use the currently installed version of Unreal on Computer A (with each logging into their own Epic accounts)? Or would I need to uninstall Unreal before each one begins work, and have each of them re-download and install it using their own accounts, in order for them to each use Computer A? I am having trouble understanding this requirement, if it is one, now that Unreal is free software.
Note that I will also be installing a separate instance of Unreal Engine for my own use on Computer B. Both of these computers are work computers in the same office.
Thank you for the clarification.
