I keep getting the E10-0 error code when trying to download unreal engine 5
Do you have a valid (Creator or Publisher) Unreal Engine licence? (see pic bellow)
If yes, Epic activation server may be unavailable. Which means you should do as suggested and try again.
No didn’t know you had to have one.It says it’s suppose to be free to use till you try to sell a product? Do I need one to download this? If so how do I get one?
When I installed UE for the very first time, an EULA window poped up prompting me to pick either a Creator or Publisher license.
In my case, I picked Publisher which requires a 5% royalties fee to be paid when a UE based product yields more than One Million USD in revenue.
A Creator license, on the other hand, is fully free but it does not allow commercial products.
Try installing UE from Epic Launcher again and pay attention to the EULA pop up, choose the license that best applies to you and see if it works.
Ya I’ve done that the right way.It’s just when I try to download it I keep getting that code nothing I’ve done has worked I just don’t get it
All I can imagine is some sort of firewall blocking your way or a VPN incorrectly reporting a country that’s not yours.
