Eternal Mist is a real-time tactics game with some RPG elements. Explore a post-apocalyptic fantasy world in which a deadly mist has engulfed almost the entire land, and the survivors huddle in small mountainous areas. Protect these lands from the horrors hiding in the mist!

From what I’ve seen of the game so far - this looks so charming and creative. I can’t say I’ve ever seen anything like it and I’m thoroughly impressed 
The lighting, plantlife, and overall environment are all so distinctive. Beautifully done!
Just out of curiosity, how many maps are in the game currently?
Hi @PresumptivePanda, I hope you’re doing well too! And thanks for the feedback! The demo version of the game is now available on Steam and itch.io. There are about 20 levels in it, which will take about an hour to complete. And don’t forget to follow us on Steam for all the latest news!

Thank you very much! It’s really nice to hear such feedback. But we still have a long way to go before release. And we have a lot of work to do to balance and polish the game. 
I would like to remind you that we are open to any comments, wishes and criticism. There is a special button in the game to take a survey and leave feedback. Your feedback will help us make the game better!

We read and respond to Steam discussions all the time. This is currently the main channel for communicating with players. Especially when it comes to talk about difficult or strange moments in the game.
And the survey is necessary for us to get basic information about the gameplay and preferences of the audience itself.
Plan Your Route, Not Just Your BattlesResources have been completely redesigned. There are now six resource types — including Plasma, Metal, and Wood — and each enemy drops different loot. This changes everything.
You’re no longer just moving from fight to fight — you’re planning your path across the map. Need Wood to reinforce your Squad? Hunt specific enemies. Low on Sigils for abilities? Reroute.
Your strategy starts before the battle even begins!
Settlements — Regroup and PrepareThe world is no longer empty. Settlements are now available on the map — safe locations where you can regroup and prepare for what’s ahead.
In Settlements, you can:
Recruit new Squads
Buy weapons, equipment, and potions
Manage your resources before the next run
Each Settlement offers different items, so every stop matters.
New Tutorial SystemWe’ve added a full tutorial to make the game easier to get into — without sacrificing tactical depth.
Learn how to:
Prepare your Squads before deployment
Control units effectively in combat
Use equipment and consumables at the right time
This update is a big step toward the full version of Eternal Mist.
