It is a Single Player Open World Game of Adventure and Exploration along with a Challenging and Immersive Survival Role Play Style, to be played in 1st or 3rd person. The player in his character of Arnau, a young man member of a Secret Order of Warriors, immersed in a nostalgically beautiful, dying, hostile, devastated, mystical and hopeless world, will have the heroic mission of becoming the Guardian of Humanity, facing multiple powerful creatures and forces coming from Forbidden Portals, until recovering all the lost pieces of “The Alfydrium” and delivering them to Father Dyaus, who will decide their fate.

ADVENTURE:

  • Play Mode: The opportunity to live this adventure in the 1st & 3rd Person.
  • Characters: Arnau is the Main Character of this Story, which will face a varied and powerful large number of enemies.counting with their own roles stories.!

As Arnau, a young man,

a member of an Order of Warriors,

called The Red Guard (Secret Order),

also known as the Mauzeptans,

the player will have a heroic mission,

and will face multiple and different

enemies.

↟ Barbarians and Rebels who roam all over the place, doing what they want without law or justice, due to the chaos that is experienced after the Core (Name given to Lothar’s act of betrayal of his Guardian Creed).


Dynamic Camera Angles:

  • 3rd. Person: From the left, from the right and behind the player with angles Cinematographic Mode.

  • 1st Person: A classic mode and emulating a VR Experience Mode.

This unknown, threatening and captivating world can be traversed with the Company of a Friend named Penance, an abandoned Horse who has been injured by a witch, who will help the player when moving through this wide and diverse hauntingly beautiful world. . This companion will also have his health managed.

If the player wishes to keep him alive, he will seek to feed him, give him water and heal him of injuries.

In this devastated
and suffering world,
Penance’s company can be warm
and even the player
could become attached to him.

  • Scenarios: photorealistic, eeries and hauntingly beautiful environment part of the Full Landscape that will cover 28 square miles:

  • Travel System: The player can move by walking or running soft and slow, and by riding a horse.

3. Compiling Story Line:

From scratch to be implemented in the game through main and side quests (the game is full length) .

Eternal Guardian will present to the player a new IP, based on its own Story.

Arnau is the main character of this story, who is born under the rule of a religion called Guardiasionism. His own birth gave rise to the Coré, a historical event in which Lothar, also called Guardian Father, betrayed his own Guardiasionist Creed, with the purpose of destroying who would become the Eternal Guardian, and with this, taking political and religious control, with the greater purpose of possessing all the pieces of the coveted, fragile and powerful “Alfydrium”. This would cause a long consecution of important events, among them, the establishment of Hexegerism as a new religion and the opening of one of the Forbidden Portals, which would leave the human race in a complete and horrifying susceptibility, under the lash of creatures and forces that, coming from these portals, had been prohibited by the Guardiasionist Creed.

Arnau, by design of the Gods themselves, manages to survive this misfortune, being separated from his purpose, which he must discover through his fight and the help of his Gods.

The story will be brought to the video game through a set of Main and Secondary Missions, through which the Player will be able to discover the world in which Arnau has been immersed, the mysteries, challenges, and threats that surround him, the different characters that compose the story, as well as his important role in this universe.

Books, Monuments, Memorable Places, and other Signs, will also show the story to the player.

The Main Core of the Story of Eternal Guardian is already defined. It is written in approximately 65%.

Hope you’ve been well!

I’m so glad you told me to check out this project. It’s right up my alley! :slight_smile: Any survival game that encourages exploration in such a beautiful world tends to instantly catch my eye. And this has definitely done that and more. The world-building with the diverse set of enemies, the setting/era, and that DnD style map will surely hook all the fellow survival nerds right in.

Are there currently any plans for base/camp building? What type of gathering is available? And is there a skill point system at all?

I’m very happy to be able to share my thoughts with people interested in the project. The base building mechanics are not intended to be added as we want an experience that is based on storytelling, survival and combat mechanics. I do not rule it out, I would have to study the possibility. Since I’m the only developer behind the scenes, I don’t know if I can cover that topic but since you mention it, implementing this mechanic seems interesting for the nature of the project itself.

Our skill system is not set up in the traditional way of points, it will be based on the weapons that the player wants to carry. Each one has its attributes, but not in the form of statistics, but more tangible and visual things like their effects, finishers, overlays states, damages, etc.

As part of our goal is to make the player spend many hours enjoying our Landscapes and Quest’s I’ve focused on two main mechanics:

Gather Resources: to gather resources such as food, water, resistance potions and materials to make shelters. Different resources are usually found in different parts of the game world, so exploration is key. For example, you may need to hunt animals for meat, gather plants for food or medicine, mine minerals.

Resource Management: Finally, it is important to manage your resources carefully. You will need to balance things like food, water, and materials to avoid starvation or dehydration. Also, you will need to manage your time effectively to ensure that you have enough resources to survive as you progress through the game. The resource are limited and not renewable.

The skill system set up to gain stronger combat abilities seems like it would be incredibly rewarding! :slight_smile:
“Feeling” a character growing stronger as the game progresses through new weapons and spell effects would definitely keep the gameplay fresh throughout the entire playtime.
