Errors in the viewport are not displayed, but appear after hit Play. How do I fix it?

Hi guys, at some point errors stopped showing up in the editor viewport when I’m just editing a level, but I see them after I click Play

Can you please tell me what the problem could be?

Welcome to the community!

This really isn’t so much an error but a warning message. It tells you that you have at least one static or stationary light in your scene that doesn’t has its lighting data built for it yet.

Just go to menu Build->Build Lighting Only to kick off that process, after which the message should go away.

The second option is to set the light to movable.

Thank you
I understand how the light bilding works, but the question was quite different

when opening the map, the error was not displayed in the upper left corner, although it was actually there (it could only be seen after click Play)

Anyway, reinstalling unreal engine solved the problem :person_shrugging:

I see, then I didn’t get it right because of lack of information. Now I do understand your problem better, but since it’s gone…
