I’ve been fortunate enough to have been accepted to this beta program last Friday.
Normally, I would go through the laborious process of baking my entire 3ds max scene/Vray prior to sending it to Unreal Engine as an FBX file.
With Unreal Datasmith I thought the process would been slightly easier once a 3ds max scene was exported as a .udatasmith file type, and later imported with the datasmith plugin in UnrealEngine.
Currently, when I import the attached vray scene as a datasmith file type into UnrealEngine, the entire scene is represented as numerous transparent small spheres.
This is obviously an error from my end…I’m assuming?
I would be forever grateful if someone could point me in the right direction here.
