Error when packaging any of my projects (even brand new simple one)

This isn’t really a C++ problem but I couldn’t see a better section to write it.
I’ve never actually packaged a finished product in Unreal, but I tried today and got error “Unknown Cook Failure”.

Now I have read up as much as I can, but mostly it just says to make sure the map is added in Project>Default Maps and also in the array in the Packaging>Cooking section.

(EDIT: Since writing I noticed this part of log.txt : Access to the path ‘C:\Program Files\Epic Games\UE_4.27\Engine\Programs\AutomationTool\Saved’ is denied. . But I have tried deleting and restoring ‘Saved’ folder and I don’t know what else I can do

I’ve already added the map to both places. And included the buildasset part.

I tried creating a new project and simply adding a piece of floor (one I created in Maya). I set all the map settings as mentioned above, I build the project in Unreal without errors. I click Package>Windows X64 and it seems to build the game part but then it gets to the *COOK COMMAND and immediately fails without any real reason.

I tried this on my 4 projects I had already, and the new 1 which is just the floor piece. The error is the same on all.

Ok well I think I fixed it by opening Epic Games and Also Unreal Engine as Administrator and then opening my project from that screen that loads up. Not sure if all these steps are necessary but that worked for the new test project I just made.

Annoying though, I am using the Administrator account of my machine. Indeed its the only user account on the machine.
