Error when installing Datasmith 5.3, on 3dsmax 2024 and 2021

Hello, I have a problem with datasmith for 3dsmax. I installed version 5.3 of datasmith for the 3dsmax 2024 and 2021 version, but when I start the program it closes by itself and does not display any error messages. Guys, what can I do in this case?

Install datasmith exporter 5.2 instead.
What other plugins do you have installed, on top of default Max 2024 installation?

I have the same problem, 3DSMax 2024 closes by itself. I can’t install Datasmith 5.2 because it says it couldn’t find the version of 3ds max on the computer, that is, version 2024.

The same happens to me. When I install datasmith 5.3.1 in 3ds max 2023 3dsmax simply does not want to open.
Any solution?

For Max version prior to 2024 please use Datasmith Exporter 5.2.

Today we released the 5.3.2 version of the 3dsMax datasmith exporter. It should fix the issue.
