ERROR: Visual Studio 2017 must be installed in order to build this target.

Hi,
I try to package a plugin but I get the “ERROR: Visual Studio 2017 must be installed in order to build this target.” even if I have visual studio 2019 installed.
I don’t understand why I keep getting this error.

I am still stuck.
I can package the project for win64 but I can’t package the plugin.

I tried different things nothing worked :
1- create a new empty project with an empty plugin.
2- specify visual studio 2019 in editor preferences -> source code.
3- add WindowsPlatform.Compiler = WindowsCompiler.VisualStudio2019; to plugin_Creator.Target.cs
4- install msvc build tools for arm, arm64, and x86/ x64.
5- setup android studio and download ndk r21
6- set ndk and android paths in PATH.
7- Modify buildConfiguration.xml :

Hello guys, I notice your issues seems to be related to ULIS3, which is library coded by Praxinos team for the plugin ILIAD.

Did you figure it out how to fix it ?

I’m not using the ILIAD plugin, but I’m getting the same error about not having Visual Studio 2017 installed.

There are settings in Engine\Build\InstalledEngineBuild.xml on line 79.
it is set for Vs2017 changing DefaultValue to true enables vs2019.

Have fixed some errors in my builds.

No file Engine\Build\InstalledEngineBuild.xml was found …
