I used DDU Completely to cleanly reinstall my graphics card and its updates, reinstalling U.E on an SSD the problem is still the same.
Same with a new project.
I’m so sad that I can’t do anything, I find it exciting to learn Unreal Engine and I really want my project to progress step by step.
If anyone can help me solve this, thank you very much.
Config : (It hasn’t changed since I first used Unreal).
Try opening from the explorer rather than the Unreal launcher, that solved the issue for me. Also did you try disabling any new plugins you might have installed?
Hello, I can close the workstation, I have switched to the previous version 5.2.1, I have no more crashes on this version … I can work and continue my progress now.
Thanks to all the people who helped me out![quote=“SUNNY, post:1, topic:1762222, full:true, username:SUNNY8”]
Hello everyone!
I’ve been using Unreal Engine (5.3.2) for several months now and haven’t had any problems using it (very few anyway).
I took a break from using it for about a month, and yesterday I resumed my project. But for some reason, U.E5 crashes every minute I use it.
Here’s the pop-up window after the application suddenly closes:

After resuming my project in Unreal Engine (5.3.2), I’ve been experiencing frequent crashes with the error “EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION.” I’ve tried reinstalling graphics drivers and Unreal Engine on an SSD, but the issue persists. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
Having same issue in UE 5.5. I’m running AMD Ryzen 9 with RTX 3060 on Zephyrus G14 laptop Windows 11. If I change the RHI to DX11 the problem stops. It only happens with DX12 and crashes most frequently if using Tessellation and Nanite with Materials. Crashes most frequently in the Material Graph Editor.
