Error saving painted terrain-textures

I am having an error since today. Stuff seemed to work properly just yesterday.

Error message goes as:
Attempting to save bulkdata 718D55CA4D1C6EE1C0A3CCB7BE275C0F with an invalid payload to package ‘/Game/ExternalActors/_Project/Maps/OpenWorld_Project/9/6G/11RO307AJPGE73RB538YJJ’. The package probably needs to be reverted/recreated to fix this.

Obviously, trying to “retry”-saving it won’t help, going on as with “continue” will not save my changes I made to my terrain.
I simply don’t understand why I cant paint and save the area on that grid.
This example shows a region with beach sand + ripped sand being saved, while the grid next to it has only the beach sand present.
I have absolutely no clue how to solve this irritating issue.

And no, the engine is not running twice. I tried to troubleshoot this thing for an hour and foudn nothing related to this specific issue.
Reverting / recreating is not known to me. The context menu on that specific grid, which seems to not save any other newly placed texture on it, has no entry to recreate or whatsover.

On note: texture has been set as shared wrap, as I am trying to make the most realistic terrain mix (different sand types, overlapping each other inside a cave with windy tunnels and so on - this means more than 3 textures in a grid). If this is the issue, then this engine needs to get updated and this issue sorted out as this limitation shouldn’t be a turn-off for people like me, or anykind of people trying to make a proper environment for their game/video/render/whatever.

I am having the same error. Similarly, the engine is not running twice. My computer specs are more than sufficient. Real solutions, please.

I had this happen when painting the landscape (with wrap texture as well), just like NovaZek. For me, I believe the road/path splines are the issue.

Other bugs: if I don’t make the engine refresh itself (via checking or unchecking a plugin, forcing an engine reload), the entire landscape editor crashes the engine when I try to load said editor. Annoying, but at least I’ve figured out a workaround.

Regarding the invalid payload to package, I too am working with an open world. There are no options for reverting or recreating as the message suggests…and no link in the warning to the asset causing the issue.

nobody has answer for this at all then huh? awesome.
