Hello! I was trying to install unreal 4 game engine latest version in my windows 8, but when installing appeared notification “The necessary prerequisites have failed to install. Error Code R-1603.”
What should I do to solve this?
I read that upgrading to windows 10 can help, but I still want to use windows 8.
Please help me.
Which gear? I don’t see any gear in the launcher. I tried to click on the notification box, but nothing appear. Only OK button showed.
To help pinpoint the issue we’ll probably need to look at your log files. From inside the launcher, click on the gear button in the upper right hand corner and select Show launcher logs. Then zip up every file with prereq in the name and attach to the thread I’ll have a look.
