Hello everyone,
I was wondering if any of you have come across this error?
I can not seem to save my level because of it and it causes all sorts of issues to happen with my landscape and such.
I have tried duplicating the level affected multiple times, copying all the level’s assets to a brand new empty level, but nothing’s working.
How should I go about fixing this>
Hey @EnragedRavioli!
So I’ve come across this in two instances.
1: When accidentally having the program open twice. So two instances of UE5 are running.
and
2: When using an off-site backup and being accidentally disconnected from it (ie. Git, Perforce, etc.)

Thank you for your response Mind-Brain,
When I was searching around for an answer I saw users saying the same thing, but it seems to not be the case for me…
I don’t have two instances of UE open or use an off-site backup.
I suspect, to be honest, that it might have something to do with my landscape material or something similar since it seems to happen when I try and paint using the visibility tool.
Essentially the visibility too will work in some spots and completely erase or hide other spots on my landscape, and then when I try and save it’ll give me the same error I’ve shown before:
It might have absolutely nothing to do with it, but it’s just a suspicion I have that might be important to mention…
I’ve looked around everywhere and I’m just desperate for any solution at this point since I can’t progress with this happening every time I try and save my level…
