Error Mesh contains Hips bone as root but animation doesn't contain the root track

Hi

I am using a Maximo character and trying to add some extra animations. But when I try to import I get this error.

Error Mesh contains Hips bone as root but animation doesn’t contain the root track.
Import failed.

Where do I go to find information to fix this please?

I think I have worked it out. The Maximo Characters Start with Hip then Spine then Spine1 and the Animation Pack Starts with Root then Pelvis then Spine_01.

Is there anyway of aligning them.

If you haven’t seen the documentation on retargeting, they use a Mixamo character in the example and show bone for bone how to retarget (if I understand your issue correctly):
