Error in opening Tiwnmotion 2022.2.3 and Revit 2023 file

We have been using the Twinmotion 2022.2.3 and Revit 2023 workflow, when last Friday one of the TM files we have been working , when we tried opening the file gives us the following error: "This file has been saved with an older version of Twinmotion. You are about to convert it to the latest version. File Current Version: None. File New Version: 2022.2.3. - This will not overwrite the existing file. A new file will be created. Do you want to proceed to conversion?"

If we proceed, TM shows a blank canvas screen with just the default background. What we had been working on is no longer there.

Person doing the work has been working from wifi for the rendering, so I am wondering if that caused some sort of error? I was able to get IT to get an older version of TM from backup, but the same problem happened.

I just want to get our file back and doing rendering. What is going on? Did the file get corrupt somehow?

Suggestions?

Hello ,

Thank you for posting in the community and reporting this problem. It seems like you may have a specific workflow or step that may have caused the file to be corrupted and we would need to investigate further.

Please contact us directly and file a bug report by using this link:

If none of the files you have open in 2022.2.3 it most likely won't be recoverable. I recommend turning on Auto-save in the settings as that will create copies for back-up.
