Error - Found disallowed object type [...] FortBudgetGrid

This is what I’m seeing…

I have no idea for the FortBudgetGrid is.

It tried this three times when I try to launch a session, then fails.

(I think this is since the 24.30 update, but I’m not 100% on that)

Did you get it since the update?

Yep only started today

Our team is seeing this same issue

FWIW - the error disappeared for me after a while.

Genuinely don’t think I did anything to fix it.

I’m having the same issue and I’m sure it started today with this last update.
Yesterday it worked fine. The ‘Launching Session’ feature worked as intended, now it’s impossible.

In my case I use HLOD (showed in the Outliner in picture 1) and besides, it generates another error too (Besides the initial FortBudgetGrid).

Any ideas?

Hey @here. Please try resaving all the actors in your outliner (Ctrl+a and then “Resave Selected Actors”). Also try right clicking on your project content folder in the content browser and selecting “Resave All”.

If anyone else is running with multiple levels, you need to resave all in the outliner on each level to get it working

This fixed the issue for me! Thank you very much.

"Please try resaving all the actors in your outliner (Ctrl+a and then “Resave Selected Actors”). Also try right clicking on your project content folder in the content browser and selecting “Resave All”. "

-wait what do you mean? where at? give more information on this on how to Resave Selected Actors, where do I do it? in UEFN? and where do I do Ctrl+a and then Resave Selected Actor’s?

Thanks, man. I’ve done it following your instructions and it works if I remove the HLOD using ‘Build HLOD’->Delete from the menu.

FYI: But, if I build HLOD again, after saving all actors and my Content browser objects, then I get the same error (for now, I will work without HLOD).

Thanks again, you save my day!

Interesting. I’ll get this info in front of the team… I think other users are reporting validation issues when building HLODs so I’ll investigate. Thanks!

In case you need more information and because the error is related with /FortWater/Materials/WaterSurface in the HLOD component, maybe is usefull to upload a image showing the WaterBodyLake present in the scene (and a bunch of WaterZones the engine added by itself).

I have tried the resaving of the actors and it is still giving me the same error. Any ideas why this might be?
