I’m trying yo automate the process of making orthomosaics. I’m stumbling on some issues. One of the issues involves the exportOrthoProjection command.
The script does generate a mosiac, however an error is raised concerning 'certificates which seem to be ‘unvalid’. Below you see the error (in Dutch). When using the GUI after this event, I get another error (in englishg this time).
When saving this project and restart it, the exportOrthoProjection command raises a different error. When using the GUI after this event, the files seems to be corrupt.

Perhaps you help me to clarify what RC is trying to tell me.
What version of RC do you use? Similar problems were present in previous versions of RC, and currently should be fixed.
If you use an older version please update your RC.
Do you use layers for your project? Have you edited in any way your initial images after alignment?
Also, please try Make it like a clean install:
reinstalling and updating Nvidia drivers,
removing cache (navigate to you cache location and remove the cache folder)
Please try to " make it like a clean install" (this will reset your settings to default in the process):
In order to do that:
Shift + Double LeftMouseClick on RealityCapture icon
From drop-down select make it like a clean install and press ok
I’m not sure what you mean with ‘layers’. I haven’t altered the initial alignment: the alignment starts after loading the gps’s and detecting the markers.
About the installation process:
I will try the reinstallation later this week perhaps (or the next). I will let you know the outcome!
Oh well, I reconsidered this. I guess I will wait for the calculateorthoprojection command to be more flexible. Perhaps in future releases this will be implemented. For now the command is not that usefull and I´m not going to put effort in solving this issue.
Here are 5 possible fixes how some of users fixed the problem (the same workaround doesn’t work for everybody)
FIX 1
Uninstall the older version of RealityCapture, and make sure that everything connected to that version is being removed. Those files from the previous versions
Although I had uninstalled the older version of RC it seems like my PC still kept some old stuff and just installed the new version into that folder. Those files from the older versions seem to mess with the timestamps.
Delete everything you can find from Epic Games and older RC-versions and re-install it again.
FIX 2
Remove the device from the Domain Controller and uninstall it and remove it from the registry, after new installation and online activation it may work.
The time may be a problem because it can be managed by the organization and I can be different from the official time in 1 sec approx.
FIX 3
Make it like a clean install (hold CTRL + Shift and run RC, then choose Make it like a clean install) and use Offline activation.
FIX 4
Check if RCNode.exe is blocked by system firewall. Then go to RC install folder and start RCNode - Windows show firewall notification and accept it for all networks. Additionally you can start RC as admin and in general settings do license change -> application owner resign in, also charge for offline use sign in again.
FIX 5
This issue might be connected to some really old files located in the C:\Program Files\Capturing Reality
Please try to uninstall RealityCapture then head to C:\Program Files\Capturing Reality and delete everything you will find about RealityCapture also in ProgramData, AppData, and Windows registry. Then restart your PC and try to install RealityCapture again and run the same test.
