When I open epic games launcher, it says please wait while we start your update, and then a caution sign pops up and sends me to epic games helpbut no solutions pop up

I am also getting the same problem idk how to fix it 
I solved this problem!
In my case I have on the Mac a user for each child. I just had to open epicGames on my desktop (admin) and then everything worked properly
I think the problem had to do with permissions or authorizations
@abrafo2012 Thanks so much this worked for also. I just had to log into my admin and then open it and it just worked again.
