Good day.
Recently, I’ve been trying to get into Unreal to start development on a handful of games I had in mind, as one might expect. Unfortunately, trying to install the Unreal Engine has been quite an issue so far.
Each time I try to install the engine, the Prerequisites phase will hang for 10-60 minutes, before abruptly stopping, giving the following error message:
“Install Failed. The necessary prerequisites have failed to install. Please contact support. Error Code: IS-PQR160”
I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the engine, reinstalling the launcher, deleting the Epic Games files, and so forth, and sadly nothing has worked so far.
What can I do to fix this problem?
