Error accurs while ios packaging

  • MacBook Pro (OS 13.2) / iPad Pro (OS 15.6) / UE5.1 / XCode 14.2

I think I downloaded a certification and a provisioning and set thems properly in settings of UE5.1.

Nevertheless when I try to package a project for IOS, it takes more than 5 hours showing “Processing Assets for IOS…”. and it’s crashed with a message below.

It seems that the issue is related to the painting of the user interface. I suggest you try the following:

  • Check your hardware and make sure it meets the system requirements for Unreal Engine 5 and the iOS platform.
  • Make sure your iOS device and Mac are updated to the latest operating system versions.
  • Try reducing the size of your project or asset files to decrease the processing time.
  • If the issue persists, try clearing the cache and restarting the Unreal Editor.

To make sure packaging is working fully, try to package one of the template projects.
