Summary

Hello I contacted EPIC game and after contact I was asked to ask a bug report regarding my match making problem #1
This has been happening for a few days on one of my uefn maps .

Hi @AETOOS , please share/test following:

  1. Island settings, Structure. (Max Players, Teams, Team Size)
  2. Do you get this issue in a private party island?
  3. Do you get this issue in public islands?

Do you know after how many people you run into this issue, e.g. are there 1,2,3,4,5 other player in the map already, and then when you try to join you result into this error?

Here is the information regarding our island:

  1. Island structure:
  • Maximum number of players: 8
  • Teams: Team index (up to 8 teams)
  • Team size: Dynamic
  • Total number of rounds: 100
  1. Matchmaking settings:
  • Island matchmaking privacy: Party choice
  • Minimum number of players: 2
  • Number of players in overtime: 2
  • Main queue duration: 5 seconds
  • Overtime duration: 5 seconds
  • “Fill team” option: greyed out / not modifiable
  1. Issue encountered:
  • The bug does not occur in private party islands.
  • The problem only happens in public islands.
  • Several players have experienced this bug: it is impossible to join the island via matchmaking, and an error appears even though the player limit has not been reached.

Multiple people have noticed this behavior. I remain available to provide further tests if needed.

NO, Just checked, and the constant matchmaking failure does not happen with the PRIVATE privacy set
