Style
This model is mainly targeted projects ranging anywhere between fantasy-like style to semi-realistic style.
UVs
The UVs are manually unwrapped to achieve the best details and hide seams.
Texture
This model has a 4k texture resolution, and has the following mesh maps:
Normal, world space normal, ambient occlusion, curvature, position, thickness.
Weight Paint
The weight paint is done completely manually to get the best results, so you don't have to worry about any weird stretches during animation.
Blend Shapes / Shape Keys
A blend shape is used to deform the head around the mouth to give it a more realistic look, and also avoid artifacts.
Animation & Rigging
This model was made with Unreal Engine in mind. Because of that, the rigging was planned to be done with Unreal's Control Rig.
From experience, it's generally advised to avoid Modular Control Rig for now, and instead make your own Control Rig. It will give much better results.
This of course also means, that no animations have been made for it yet.
If you aren't an Unreal Engine user, then you'll have to do the rigging yourself, but it should be relatively simple. :)
