Whenever I have tried to use my erase tool for landscapes in UEFN over the past day it hasn’t worked and is just acting as a second sculpting tool creating more landscapes whenever I try to erase things. As it is I can’t mold/erase any of the mountains and terrain I am working on and am wondering if anyone knows a fix for this.

I’m being plagued by this same issue and it basically ruined one of my maps. I don’t know how to fix it at all, I really need to know how to fix this. Somehow the Erase tool is an even more powerful version of the sculpting tool. It’s worth noting this is happening on a map I imported from FNC.
Hey, I think I figured it out. This isn’t the best solution but it worked for me. You have to delete the entire landscape and import a new one. Then you can sculpt and actually erase from there
If you hold the shift key while using the sculpt tool does it delete your landscape? That’s the easier option when sculpting rather than going to go select the erase tool.
