Downloaded the Epic Game Launcher from here: Epic Games
Error: The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application.
I have windows 8.1 and the newest visual sudios 2015: Screenshot by Lightshot

Take a look at the accepted answer in this post. Try the suggestions listed and if nothing works for you, please follow the instructions and get your Dependency Walker logs, then post them here.

Your log shows a few issues but the one that jumps out immediately is the fact that you have an x86(32bit) version of the following DLL in your System32 folder.

c:\windows\system32\D3DX11_43.DLL

No idea how your computer got into that state but that should definitely be a 64bit dll.

Here is what you can do:

  1. Backup your C:\windows\system32\D3DX11_43.DLL by renaming it to D3DX11_43.DLL_BACKUP
  2. You should no longer have a C:\windows\system32\D3DX11_43.DLL file because you renamed it or moved it to a new location when backing it up.
  3. Run the DirectX setup from your Epic Games install folder(The default location is this but you’ll need to use your install location: C:\Program Files\Epic Games\DirectXRedist\DXSETUP.EXE. Or you can download it from here:
  4. Ensure a new version of the D3DX11_43.DLL was put into your C:\windows\system32 folder.
  5. Try starting the launcher again

i go to open epic games launcher and it loads but then dosent open can you help me thanks.
