I realise this is the wrong place this for, however I feel like I have no other alternative but to raise this issue somewhere where I might actually get some sense, because lord I don’t seem to be getting any through player support.
Hundreds and thousands of users are getting their accounts compromised and details changed with zero support from Epic in order to assist the paying customer recover their accounts.
I for one was one of these people, but having not ventured into the issue, i see hundreds of thousands of complaints on various sites (reddit, Trustpilot etc) all saying the same thing.
Epic support does not “SUPPORT” the player. There is no direct contact method outside of a very vague chat and despite me having access to invoices and emails with timestamps etc clearly proving the compromise on my account I’m basically being told my information does not match the account details… well of course it doesn’t, they’ve changed them.

Was compromised because somehow my Gmail account was also compromised despite have 2FA enabled on it. This was on October 14th at 4:36, I have all the emails outlining the change, however I was still able to get into the account for a short period of time because my PSN account was also linked, so I was getting in that way till they removed the link. I have screenshots of this
I have supplied all this to your “player support” and seemingly got a response saying sorry, were not helping your info is wrong, yet its literally the invoices, transaction ID’s from PayPal etc and the account details are on them so how can they be wrong?
If I am facing so many issues with this process despite having such clear evidence the account was indeed owned by me, i dread to think what other players are facing and I think this needs highlighting massively. I paid my hard earned cash on products in the epic store, and now I’m facing zero support when its needed, and so are thousands of other players… its not good enough!
