Epic- Professional Development Assistance ?

Hiya,

I have a project nearing the Demo release stage, it has been written entirely in BP and is extremely scruffy from a coding point of view but functional.

My question is does Epic have a department that will assist on a comercial basis ?

If so contact details appreciated

Thanks

Paul G

They do not.

Unless you count unreal dev grants.

Unreal Dev Grants are Epic’s way of rewarding UE4 developers for their excellent projects. If you are working on something that you think is really awesome, try applying here.

Thanks for the reply’s guys

HI …
Its not that I am looking for rewards, (although I will be submitting my project to Dev Grants)
I am of the opinion that my project although working pretty well, would benefit enormously from some serious guidance by UE4 professionals.

Although any award would be most welcome, it does raise the question …

If I was ever lucky enough to win a of any sort , I would be looking to spend all of it getting the best possible expert help releasing my project.

So where for example could I spend any dev to get me the best possible assistance ?

Given that the free access to UE4 will produce some unusual approaches and inventive thinking, often by one man bands who may have expertise in only one area ( in my case I am really a 3D artist)
I am absolutely sure that given a working demo where roles and gameplay is defined and functional, any one of your expert devs could re-write the functionality in a matter of days (if not hours) with huge benefits,

Not talking about a freebe here, I am looking for expert support to raise my project to the next level and just want to know where can I find it, and at what price. Then it is up to me to raise the finance req.

Thanks for your input

I thought that is what “Unreal Enterprise” is all about ?

That’s really more about them trying to figure out how to improve non-game applications of the engine.

What we do have that is like that is custom licensing, through which a studio could get more direct support. These licenses are heavily vetted and only a few very well funded companies usually qualify. I would instead refer most developer to the answerhub or to use the forums here. Also try out the discord chat for more help

There are many experienced developers here. Why don’t you try the job board?
