Noticed some creators getting into epic picks etc with maps that have no micro transactions within their maps but within their maps they have maps linked that go to other maps that have micro transactions.
Like assets are considered with Epic Picks, so should this be considered too as the map is being advertised as a no micro transaction map.
Edit:
And given this was locked, I want to say, I wasn’t particularly interested in calling out or reporting anyone in particular. My point was, Maps that have maps within them, that have micro transactions, should be labelled as having micro transactions.
Hi, this is just a new map that I released today. Is there anything wrong with this? There are maps in Epic Picks that include in-game transactions. Personally, I don’t see any problem with it. This is a completely new map where I introduced this system. It also has the appropriate rating, so I really don’t understand what the issue is.
That is fine, appreciate your response, try not to DM me, I prefer to keep comments and responses public. I don’t do DMs.
This is a general community question asked to everyone. Should MX maps be aloud to be pushed within Epic Picks maps. Not just yours, All Epic Pick maps.
I’m just trying to work and improve like everyone else, and I would really appreciate it if, in case you had any issue or felt that something was breaking the rules, you contacted me directly instead of writing 20 posts about it on Twitter or starting a forum thread. That’s all. Thanks, and take care.
Again, this is a general question asked to community with you as example, sorry to call you out but you are extremely suspicious to begin with and I am not the original poster, merely curious.
The question remains. Should Epic Picks maps be able to push other maps that have MX in them? I get MX maps pushing other MX maps, but this is the main concern, the concern is for parents etc who may be trying to avoid this stuff.
Better yet, should ANY non-mx map have mx maps advertised within them?
Islands with in-island transactions are eligible for Epic’s Picks. If you suspect a developer is violating the rules, we ask that folks use the Island reporting feature, rather than the forums. Thank you!
