Same issue here. I made a clean install of Windows 11 this week and can’t install Epic Online Services. My Windows 10 installation i had before is working fine.

Hello together, i searched hours to fix this problem and the only one that helped i am gonna Copy Paste for you all here, thanks to Jonas Oe.
“Creating the folder manually doesn’t seem to work anymore. After a while I found a possible solution with installing a game via Epic Launcher. Fall Guys for example (~6GB Download). You need to fully install it. After its done, open the installation folder (depending where you installed Fall Guys) and in there should be a Epic Online Services folder. Open it, run the Epic Online Services.exe. Then I checked the settings in Epic Games Launcher again and the notification about installing the online service was gone. Uninstalled Fall Guys right after and so far no issues anymore.”
This finally fixed it for me on Win10 Pro in December 2024.

Thank`s @derhamsternacho, it solved the problem. Apparently it was a epic problem because the Online Services that came with the launcher may be corrupted or something, and the Online Services file that came with Fall Guys install with no problem.

Holy cow, thanks a lot man! I’ve tried all of the methods around and none of them work, this was the only fix that made it for me! Thanks for sharing, kudos for this guy 
it doesnt work for me, it installs but then BSOD Critical Process Died every time I open the launcher unless online services got uninstalled.
Really this is getting really disgusting.
Tried on Win11 24H2 and 23H2, clean installation. Next try will be on Win10. Its a new pc with 7600X + 7800XT for a client and its driving me nuts.

Win11 Pro 64 clean install here. Epic Online Services installer visibly creates folder, writes in it and right before that installation is complete, deletes the whole “Epic Online Services” folder.

Same problem here
The only one solution that helped - installed Fall Guys, and installed online services from game folder\EpicOnlineServices.
