Since the MegaGrant program was launched, new technologies and approches are enabling a much greater Indie community to break into Green Screen/Projector Virtual Production. As such, equipment provided may no longer be sufficient to support this purpose.
Therefore, I am recommending the following additions and improvements be made to the “Hardware Request” section:
- AMD Ryzen 7 3800X changed to AMD Ryzen 9 5900X
- Option to request a “Blackmagic Design Virtual Production Bundle” - which would include the Pocket Cinema 6K Pro camera, ATEM Mini Pro ISO console, Micro Converter BiDirectional SDI/HDMI 12G adapter w/PSU, and Mini Converter Sync Generator (for Tri-Sync GenLock).
- Option to request Magic Leap 2 headset
