Hi guys,
So I have been working on my game and really hoping to have a chance to grab an Epic Megagrant in 2022.
Of course, the chance of it is <10% (according to loads of Epic’s personnel). Therefore I’m doing research on why this 10% is so different from the rest. Here are some points that I think are worth mentioning (applying to Games only):
- The story is totally headliner. It is either the producer’s story of effort or the game’s story itself. (Eg: A Juggler’s Tale - a student project, Hundred Days - winemaker + game producer’s production)
- Not every single one of them is AAA level in graphics. They either excel in graphics or gameplay.
- They all have the potential to show and tell the world about UE’s capability, as well as influence people to use the tool to mark their identity.
Any add-on about this topic? Have you ever applied? Your opinion on how to get a grant? Do’s and Don’ts?
