Epic launcher issues - download was corrupt

I tried downloading/installing the dev kit through the Epic launcher, but the download got corrupted and now all I can do is try to install it over and over again, with the same result: Failure.

Where does the Launcher download the dev kit by default? I would like to delete these files from my computer, and try re-downloading the dev kit. If anyone could help, I’d appreciate it!

Hi ,

Try the uninstall method mentioned in this post. Depending on what version of the engine you are downloading, your filepath will likely be different.

If this doesn’t work, post a new report on the Installation & Setup section of AnswerHub.
