Changing in engine.ini from 6666 to 6345 didn´t work. Steam, GOG, Origin and Uplay work fine, only Epic launcher freezes TV. Only TV signal goes off, internet connection works.
Bump. RIP.
I think you are on the wrong forum…
sounds like a hardware issue. the signal that goes from your computer to the tv has nothing to do with what program you are using. all that get transferred to the tv is a signal telling the tv which pixel to light. basically the computer sends a picture. The only other thing that would possibly cause the tv to go out is a power change. Is your computer working alot harder when you open the launcher? if your computer is working harder it will pull more power and if the tv is plugged into the same outlet or powerstrip then you could get a drop in the available power which in some cases turns off the computer.
TV signal from cable operator goes off.
so your cable signal is cutting out? like the one you use to watch tv shows? i dont see how that could possibly have anything to do with the engine.
I have the same problem. When Epic Games Launcher starts, the IPTV signal stops, keeps “breaking” until I Close the Launcher. I Have the same setup as PedroGomes. Router Thomson tg784n, the computer is conected by cable to the router as well as the TVBox. Looks like It’s a problem from this router…
I have tried the port solution as well as other that I can’t remember right now :S and it didn’t worked…
Any sugestions/help ?
Having the same issue .
I found that for us the problema might be with the battleye (fortnite anti.cheat). If you shut down the proccess on the task manager after you launch fortnite the TV stops freezing after that.
I wonder if theres some way to stop that conflict. Like changing port number…
Probably it’s not a good idea to shut down the anti cheat engine, but that might help to solve this, anyway looks like Epic games isn’t much interested in this situation…
Ja alguem conseguiu resolver isto???
Hello,
MEO has acknowledged this issue and has a fix for it. Just contact MEO support (16 209) and explain the issue. Make sure to tell them it is the same issue as other users reported regarding “Fortnite disrupting TV transmission”. Really, make sure you mention Fortnite, otherwise they might not know what you are talking about . They will then update your home gateway (router) remotely and solve your problem.
I am using Listas IPTV to car football TV channels and movies from many countries around the world
