Any time I update an Unreal Engine plugin through the Epic Launcher, the download runs normally, then the status shows “verifying” and it downloads again. I’d like to hope it’s not “verifying” by re-downloading the same data twice, just to compare, when there are such things as checksums.
I don’t see anything in the settings for the launcher that might govern this. On an Internet connection at 54 megabits/second, a multi-gigabyte download takes considerable time.
Has anyone else observed this? Is it normal, or a bug, or something I have wrong in settings?
