So I removed a project from my launcher (Scifi Hallway) and for some reason the launcher also deleted my actual game project. Weeks of work GONE… Might look into this guys…

The launcher does give you a very clear warning though?
Which is fine, if it only deleted the project I had selected. but as I said it deleted the one I selected “Scifi Hallway” AND my main game project.
I’m sorry we weren’t able to follow up with you sooner, and that you lost your project. We aren’t aware of other occurrences of this happening, so hopefully if there was a bug in the code it has since been resolved. If this occurs again, please immediately visit http://help.epicgames.com/ and contact us with information. I also strongly recommend using version control software such as Perforce or SVN to prevent the future loss of any other data. Cheers
