Dear lady or gentleman
We are trying to install Unreal Engine 4.18 behind the corporate firewalls and proxies.
The Epic games Launcher stuck in “Please Wait…” message while trying connecting a number of addresses.
We could observe some of the addresses/ports that the EpicGamesLauncher.exe is trying to connect, using the Microsoft/Sysinternals TCPView tool.
Examples:
ec2-52-204-176-69.compute-1.amazonaws.com/52.204.176.69
ec2-52-205-159-66.compute-1.amazonaws.com/52.205.159.66
ec2-54-80-35-244.compute-1.amazonaws.com/54.80.35.244
c2-34-194-27-225.compute-1.amazonaws.com./34.194.27.225
c2-34-194-96-253.compute-1.amazonaws.com./34.194.96.253
c2-52-21-143-162.compute-1.amazonaws.com./52.21.143.162
c2-34-197-110-146.compute-1.amazonaws.com./34.197.110.146
c2-52-21-90-176.compute-1.amazonaws.com./52.21.90.176
c2-34-200-161-218.compute-1.amazonaws.com./34.200.161.218
c2-34-202-241-251.compute-1.amazonaws.com./34.202.241.251
c2-34-226-131-152.compute-1.amazonaws.com./34.226.131.152
Maybe someone know a reference or documentation that contains the complete and updated list of IP adresses and Ports that should be opened in the firewall to be used by EpicGamesLauncher.
Without that, the IT Network staff will not be able to create a policy that allow the correct traffic.
We’ve done a little research in https://answers.unrealengine.com, Google and Unreal Engine guides/docs.
There are some related and similar questions and issues, but we found nothing related to the addresses that the launcher is trying to connect, until now.
Thanks in advance for any information or insight.
Best Regards,
Randolpho
