Web shops are now available on the Epic Games Store! Using Epic’s self-publishing tools, developers can now create a web shop on the Epic Games Store and sell content direct-to-consumer. Web shops are built to give developers more control over how and where they monetize, with as little as a ‘coming soon’ product page on the store. Additionally, web shops are compatible cross-platform, cross-buy, and cross-progression across all supported Epic products.
Developers launching web shops will enjoy the same benefits available on the Epic Games Store including a great revenue share model, incentive programs and support for global commerce with over 80 payment methods across 43 local currencies. Also, players spending in web shops will also earn Epic Rewards on all their purchases.
