On May 1, 2025, we announced upcoming changes to our revenue share model. Retroactive from June 1, developers on the Epic Games Store earn 100% of the first $1 million in net revenue per product, per year for any Epic Games Store payments we process. This new revenue share model is part of our updated standard distribution terms.
After the first $1M in net revenue, content will revert to our existing 88%/12% revenue share model.
Key Highlights:
- 100% revenue share on your first $1M net revenue per title.
- The $1M revenue threshold started June 1, 2025, and applies through December 31, 2025. From 2026 onward, the $1M threshold for each product resets annually on January 1.
- Works across platforms using Epic’s payment processor (PC, Mac, iOS, iPadOS, Android)
- No application or contract updates required
