The MetaHuman Groom Starter Kit for Maya provides sample files and a structured workflow for authoring strand-based grooms for MetaHuman characters on Fab, using Maya’s XGen Legacy system. This kit is intended as a reference for grooming artists and technical users looking to create grooms compatible with MetaHuman. In addition to the Maya project, the Starter Kit includes a corresponding Unreal Engine project, designed to preview and test grooms exported from Maya. The UE project offers a basic level setup with all essential components configured to demonstrate proper groom asset integration within Unreal Engine.
