The MetaHuman Groom Starter Kits for Houdini provide a basic groom setup in Unreal Engine (UE) using a source project from Houdini, serving as a reference for authoring MetaHuman-compatible grooms for FAB. The kit includes an example project and asset demonstrating the process of creating, styling, and integrating a groom into UE. It features a groom-ready Houdini project scene containing all grooming geometry and node-based grooming configurations. This setup includes tools such as MH Groom Workspaces and supports key workflows including attribute painting, groom styling, viewport visualization, and exporting grooms via the MH Groom Export tool. The scene references Houdini Digital Assets (HDAs), which must be downloaded separately via MetaHuman for Houdini.
