Epic Games Launcher won't launch

Why is my Epic Games launcher crashing on startup?

Epic Games Launcher installs but won’t launch. I don’t get a sign in window or anything. I can see it boot up for a split second in the task manager but then it immediately crashes.

The specs on my computer support the use of the software:

1080 nvidia card (FULLY UPDATED)
i7 processor
windows 10 64 bit

This computer is new, I just started using it this morning.

You can see it gets interrupted. I made another log and it seems like it gets interrupted at a different spot everytime, as if somethings keeping it from running.

Please help. I use this engine for work. I can’t move into another engine at this point and I’ve tried literally everything (uninstalling, reinstalling, repairing, running different pieces of code in the properties windows, going thru the msconfig and booting up with minimal programs, updating video card drivers)

Please can someone tell me what’s going on???

Ah yes, I’ve visited this page and already have done everything on it. I’ve run the Diagnostic, I’m the administrator, I’ve made sure my drivers were updated, everything. Can someone please help still? that page did not provide me any assistance.

The latest games launcher (that I got on Nov 8th or so) crashed my MacBook Air completely - It froze everything and I had to power down. It was OK after though. Dunno what happeded. just saying it seems more tempermental now.
