When I download the Epic Games Launcher and run it, it downloads but when its finished it says ‘‘Self update failed’’
I’ve never been able to access the launcher all it says is Self Update Failed : Screenshot - 432d621bb71b741cbffb3ce2a16540c8 - Gyazo
Please help have been struggling with this for to long!
You could try to run as an administrator. This should allow the program to bypass network blocks or firewalls that may be blocking it from running.
If that’s not the problem you can try checking the version of your OS, if you’re using windows you need to be using a 64-bit version. Using a 32-bit version will allow you to download everything but will not run or update anything.
Also, ensure that you have enough storage available for all the files. I know that kind of sounds dumb, but I had an issue similar to this and I noticed I needed to make some space.
The picture they give for the error is very vague with no error code, but I hope this helps!
