When i start the epic games launcher on windows 10 it simply doesn’t work, as in the pics some buttons appear but nothing else, some of this bottons is cliccable but also the other pages doesn’t work.
Already tried all the classic stupid solution people tell on internet:
drivers are updated
tried every single compatibility mode in every combination
changed dns and other connection options
run as administrator
uninstalled and reinstalled
I’m pretty sick of this launcher where notthing works, you can gift people with all the free games of this world but if they aren’t able to play it…
I’ve read tons of post on the internet of people with the same problem and a lot of them still haven’t found a solution, neither have i.
The solution is the same as the solution for the “white screen”:
Make sure the Epic Launcher isn’t running, close it by X-ing it out or via Task Manager if you want to be absolutely sure.
Open the Windows menu and search for %appdata%.
You’re in the “Roaming” folder right now, go a bit outer to the “AppData” folder, then search for the following ones: AppData/Local/EpicGamesLauncher/Saved.
Ok, I found the Answer to my odd EpicLauncher distortion.
I had the Windows display setting “Scale and layout” for fonts set to 125% and while I had the screen resolution at 1680x1050 or 1920x1080 the EpicLauncher would be distorted.
When I put the windows10 settings “Scale and layout” back to 100% the EpicLauncher was fixed.
Must be an AMD Embedded Radeon GPU driver problem.
