Even that 18.10.0 version did not work for me. As soon as the launcher starts, it knows there is an update and tries to contact the update server. With the network blocked, it gets stuck trying to download and verify the update. It won’t bypass or give up.
Yes, I worried about that too, but it doesn’t update to 19.0. Did you let it finish? I was surprised when it suddenly started up and worked when I did it, instead of being the 19.0 series again.
that’s right, but after letting it update itself the launcher works great on my c2d e7200.
