EPIC games launcher stopped working (graphic cards error)

I have a Dell XPS 17" with Windows 11 (Version 10.0.22631 Build 22631) and a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop (Driver version: 566.14) and, since the latest driver update (that I noticed; it could be earlier, as I don’t use it very often), when I try to launch (or install) the EPIC launcher, I get the error message “There is a problem with your graphic card. Please ensure your graphic card meets the minimum requirements…”.

The EPIC Launcher used to work with previous versions of the drivers (same exact graphic card settings), so I am quite puzzled as to why, with newer drivers, it stopped working.

Has EPIC discontinued the support for the RTX 3060? Any clue of how to solve this?

Thanks in advance, r

UPDATE: after a clean install of the latest drivers from NVIDIA (which , for some reasons, the NVIDIA app would tell are available…) and uninstalling / re-installing EPIC launcher, I got it to work!

However, after turning on the PC the next day (without installing anything in between), I get the same error again…

This is so freaking frustrating…

The driver update might be causing conflicts. Try rolling back to an older driver version that work before. Also, you could check if Windows is auto-updating the driver in the background, which might be causing the issue to return.

Thanks bud, Windows auto-updates is the second thing I have nulled after I bought the laptop

What I have done, which is currently working, is not just rolling back to the previous working driver, but rolling back to the previous DELL-approved (my laptop is DELL) graphics driver, after having used DDU to fully remove the latest installed driver.

It can also come from having an onboard card set to be used by UE. I’ve saw that as well.
