Essentially after my installation of the Epic Games Launcher yesterday and inputting my account information the Epic Games Launcher proceeded to load, opens an interface then after some time or if I choose to click on anything it crashes. From then on it won’t allow me to open even that initial interface that was past the “please wait” from entering in credentials. It will now go to the “please wait” load up then crash.
I’ve read and followed the steps provided on your guide here : A new, community-hosted Unreal Engine Wiki - Announcements - Epic Developer Community Forums to no avail and I feel to be at a loss.
Here is my dxdiag as per requested in the guide

Can you provide us with the debug logs from your launcher? You can find steps on how to get these in the Getting Debug Logs: portion of the troubleshooting guide that you linked(It is just under the DxDiag section): A new, community-hosted Unreal Engine Wiki - Announcements - Epic Developer Community Forums
Yeah for sure, thanks for addressing my question. Appreciate it very much. I want to start with UE4 as soon as possible and I’m not sure where to go from here. I’ve tried looking around the answerhub forum for people that have ran into similar issues and wasn’t able to fix my issue.
Thank you for the logs. A quick glance does not turn up the problem but there is a lot of info to look through. Will update as soon as we know more.
Right on, I look forward to the update from you.
Any update on what the issue may be?

I uninstalled WebCompanion and it worked no questions asked after that point. For anyone experience the same issues as I am. Check to see if you have that installed on your computer. Its some secondary software from lavasoft that says nope to anything Epic Games Launcher. So uninstall that 17.3 MB you didn’t know you had and get the launcher working. Happy developing everyone!
