Epic Games Launcher Quick Start section broken - It lists UE-Plugins?

Helo @Suthriel ,
From what I’ve been looking into, the Quick Launch in the Epic Games Launcher can’t be configured manually.

It works more like a dynamic list based on usage:

  • Games you’ve recently launched
  • Installed games you use frequently

So the only way to “control” it is indirectly:

  • Launch the game you want to appear multiple times

In other words, you can kind of “force” it, but only through usage.

What you can’t do:

  • Pin games manually
  • Reorder the list

In short, it’s basically a “recently used” system, not something customizable. The only way to influence it is by changing what you launch, not by editing it directly, as explained in the support page" How to remove games from the Quick Launch tab in the Epic Games Launcher".

Additionally, in this post it’s shown how to manually remove a game from the library (in case it still appears there after being uninstalled).

Another alternative is to create a folder and put your favorite games there, which ends up working pretty similarly to a more controlled Quick Launch.

Hope it helps!
