Hello there,
i noticed, that my Epic Games Launcher now also lists plugins in the Quick Start section, does this just happen for me, or is this a new thing o.O
Just got the info, that someone else had different plugins listed in his launcher, and clicking on any of them leads to an error page.

Yeah I also have the same (but different plugins). Might be a bug from Epic.
Hey there, I don’t have this in my version (English) - are you sure you have the latest version of the installer?
Helo @Suthriel ,
From what I’ve been looking into, the Quick Launch in the Epic Games Launcher can’t be configured manually.
It works more like a dynamic list based on usage:
Games you’ve recently launched
Installed games you use frequently
So the only way to “control” it is indirectly:
Launch the game you want to appear multiple times
In other words, you can kind of “force” it, but only through usage.
What you can’t do:
Pin games manually
Reorder the list
In short, it’s basically a “recently used” system, not something customizable. The only way to influence it is by changing what you launch, not by editing it directly, as explained in the support page" How to remove games from the Quick Launch tab in the Epic Games Launcher ".
Additionally, in this post it’s shown how to manually remove a game from the library (in case it still appears there after being uninstalled).
Just do it by yourself: edit the file “GameUserSettings.ini” in “C:\Users<<>>\AppData\Local\EpicGamesLauncher\Saved\Config\Windows”
Remove the line “LastPlayedGame” that contains the game you want to remove.
There might be other references in the file - make a copy before doing it.
Another alternative is to create a folder and put your favorite games there, which ends up working pretty similarly to a more controlled Quick Launch.
Hope it helps!

Thanks, but i think, the better idea would be, that Epic
A) fixes that bug (plugins should never be listed there, that also wasn´t the case in earlier versions), and
B) actually makes the launcher a lil bit more userfriendly by allowing stuff like reordering and pinning

Yes I’ve got the same behavior like you. I don’t understand what any kind of plugin, only used inside UE, should list in the Quick Launch. You can’t even start them solo.
