So I am getting a new hard drive and i decided to move my installation of epic games launcher over to a new drive. After i did that the launcher worked fine but i could no longer launch UE 5.1, everytime i tried to launch UE5 it told me it couldnt install the prerequisites. So I completely uninstalled the launcher and the prerequisites from my PC and used a program to cleanup the leftovers, then restarted my pc. I tried to reinstall the launcher on my C Drive and now when I try to open the launcher it says it cant install the prerequisites for it. so the launcher wont even finish installing because of that. It says Installing, then it says Verifying Update, then it says Installing Prerequisites, then it says Self Update Failed, and gives me error SU-PQR1603. Ive tried installing all the visual studio stuff, .net framework, running the launcher as admin. nothing works.
The launcher and unreal engine worked flawlessly earlier before i decided to move it, now nothing works, what do i do? I seen i can skip the prerequisites update by using a command but the launcher needs those prerequisites doesnt it? Thats why i havent tried that yet.
